The initial doula consultation is free. Basic doula services include at least two to three prenatal viits visits in addition to our initial consultation, pre-natal visits to discuss relaxation techniques, fetal and maternal positioning, what to expect, or anything else of concern to you; help in preparing your  vision for your birth; unlimited phone and email support throughout pregnancy; -help you get information about your options, so all of your decisions are informed. -I will be by your side throughout active labour (3 cm+) until about an hour after birth. I will be there to encourage and support Dads in how they can help Mom. I will also provide photographic coverage of the birth as well as a DVD Slideshow/birth story. For an additional fee I write a full birth story and publish it in a hard cover photo book as a special keepsake of your baby’s birth. After the birth, I will help in establishing breastfeeding and provide you with one postpartum visit at home within 1-2 weeks of baby’s birth.

My fee for the above services is $750 with a non-refundable $275 deposit due when I reserve your due date and the remaining $475 is due at 38 weeks. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions.
